Dancers needed for 'World at Your Fee't in Plymouth

If any dancers fancy getting involved in a huge dance project this summer then you need to get in touch with the Barbican Theatre who are looking for dancers for the world at your feet project! This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with the biggest city wide production in Plymouth ever! Info bellow...please note you MUST be able to make all of the performances but if there are some rehearsals you can't make then if you let them know arraignments can be made to accommodate.



The World at Your Feet is a project celebrating the richness and diversity of cultural migration in Plymouth. It will culminate in a significant outdoor site specific production involving young people, members of the community and professional artists. It will be performed to the public for two weeks in July as part of the Cultural Olympiad.

N.B. Half term 4-8 June : mixed rehearsal calls daytime tbc

Wednesday – theatre 6-9pm – plus individual calls

Sunday – Company Call (Sunday 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th June &1st July)

“The World at Your Feet” is led by Plymouth City Council and is a Cultural Olympiad Project funded by The Arts Council of England and Plymouth City Council. 

Ballet with Amelia in Totnes

Contemporary ballet with Amelia starts a new term on Monday 11th June 5:30-7:00pm at Chapel House Studios in Totness.

SpinDrift Dance Company kick of their tour


Local company SpinDrift kick off their tour in Callington this month, this is not to be missed...and I'm dancing in it! If you can't make it to this performance fear not there will be more performances in Exeter and in Dartmouth coming up over the next 8 months!

Beautiful lyricism, emotional physicality and spell binding gravity defying stunts. Spindrift meshes contemporary dance with characters, stories, live accompaniment and film. Guest artists from fellow companies and local enthusiasts also perform in the showcase. Something for everyone and a show not to be missed! 
SpinDrift start their tour at Callington Town Hall on the 15th June, curtain up at 7:30.
